Breanne Esau, MSC RSLP(C) - SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGIST

Breanne provides diagnostic and therapeutic services to clients in Vancouver, BC. Her primary clinical interests include working with school-age children, teenagers, and young adults, focusing on social language, emotional regulation, executive functioning, self-advocacy, and understanding the neurodivergent brain. She has valuable experience working with preschool and school-age children and teenagers with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), among other diagnoses.

Breanne is dedicated to offering holistic, client-led, neurodiversity-affirming services while considering the strengths, needs, interests, and preferences of the client and their family. She recognizes the complex relationship between one’s communication abilities, identity, and mental health, allowing her to create a welcoming space where client’s feel safe to be themselves and address their concerns.

As a late-diagnosed Autistic adult, Breanne is passionate about supporting individuals in learning about themselves and leaning into their neurodivergent identities. She is also an avid reader, particularly interested in nonfiction works by autistic authors. She values the expertise they provide through their lived experiences and considers these perspectives when working with autistic clients.
